i think it's so interesting how all of jane birkin's daughters have a different bit of her physicality. nevertheless, lou's face still reminds me the most of her mother's. i appreciate lou more and more because through her face we see the idiosyncrasies of jane birkin's. maybe i should be posting this on the birkin thread, but the thought just struck me!

You're right which is funny because all three of them look strongly more like their respective father physically.I think it's also interesting regarding the fact that Lou looked nothing like her mother when she was younger but now that she's getting older, she certainly is the one that looks the most like her and vice versa Kate Barry was the one that looked the most like Jane when she was young and doesn't look like her all that much now.

I've browsed the harpers bazaar issue today and there aren't any pictures of her, there's just an article where she talks about how she met her boyfriend.
They met in a restaurant, she was waiting for a friend and Thomas John Mitchell was there and then her friend came over and it appeared that he knew him so they talked and then she tried to give him the impression that she was a party girl.They partied for several nights and apparently he was getting tired of it.She organised a party by the beach with his friends and him and he left after a few days where she had to put up with his friends.Then, when she came back to Paris, she organised a party at his house, and then when she asked him where she could sleep he told her 'in my bedroom' (oh how racy ).Two years later, her son was born.They kept being on and off until recently, she declared that he was the man of her life.
