I wish that someone would write a book about her. I just can't help but love her.

I really hope Lou's not back with Edouard.Hes just a womanizer.
In her most recent interviews she referred to her boyfriend as being "the father of my son","we do music together..."
But a couple of weeks ago I read in tabloïds that shes been seen flirting with E.Baer.(although there are no pix to proove those allegations are true)
I doubt she'd make the same mistake twice:as shes already had a fling with him back in 2001.

Thanx a million for all the piccies  ..It almost felt like I was there, partying with Jane,Milla,Lou ...^_^ :D

She has always denied the fact that she had a fling with him before and I believe her.

I hate reading her interviews sometimes. She seems so self-centered and she should seriously stop the whole 'They hate the fact that I'm so excentric in France.I'm such an outcast.I'm so different' bull****.I prefer Charlotte's discretion when it comes to her personal and family life.

And don't let me start on the whole 'I'm so cultured, I should have been a math student, I'm well-read...' pretentious stuff.

Are you sure about that?
That's from MarierClaire (the scans are on page 21 of this thread)

I have that article Luca (originally, it was from Voici). They're looking at each other with a certain affection, big deal ( we could have concluded the same thing about Sebastien and her judging by the pictures). In the other pictures of the same event, there's not a single picture that could give away the impression that they were in love.Lou never denied (and even confirmed) her love relationship with anyone BUT him, she mentioned that the rumour about them being an item was wrong and she said that they were just close friends.

Marlowe_Tiger, I like her fashion style and I do find her articulate and sometimes interesting but I'm SO sick of her picturing or describing herself as some kind of a rebel, trying to give the impression that she's special, it's getting tiring, and her whole 'I read so much' does make her sound pretentious.

I prefer her interviews over the shallow uninteresting interviews by uninteresting Hollywood starlets. I don't feel bored out of my mind reading them or listening to her speak.

I think Lou is gorgeous in a non standard beauty way, but I agree that she's not looking good lately, that grey top hat is awful.

Are those hair extensions? If they are they are very well done, I always thought it was her own hair.

^ I never knew she wore extensions either.
It doesn't seem to go with her low maintanence attitude.

Well I haven't read that many interviews with her in English so maybe Im not getting the whole picture but I think she comes across well in the ones I have read, much more interesting and articulate than the majority of twenty-something celebrities.
The way she described the differences between Parisian and London style pretty much sums up my own perceptions too. Whilst Paris is incredibly elegant it does lack the humor London does. Of course its just a generalization but i think there is some truth to it.

I agree with some of the things you said. For instance, it's true that she makes some accurate remarks (especially about fashion and sometimes about literature or cinema) and she seems to be well-read and as I said before, she is an articulate woman. However, in my case, having read most of the interviews she has given to the press, I tend to be fed-up, not with the remarks she makes about the outside world but with the image she tries to give of herself. At first,I was eager to know more about her and her tastes but now, I'm seriously sick of the whole 'I'm such an outcast in France.No-one appreciates the fact that I'm so multi-talented....I read so much...No-one liked the fact that I was the daughter of Jacques Doillon...Oh you know,I'm not shallow, I could have been a math student'. You'd never find Charlotte yacking about the 'aristocratic/bourgeois' background of her mother's family for instance.

Don't get me wrong.I'd certainly love to talk with the girl and she certainly is more interesting and mature than other girls in their twenties but sometimes, she does come off as being a bit 'too full of herself'.

I thought she came across quite well in that Times interview.

My favorite part:

I love going to New York. No one cares there. I go to Starbucks in an enormous hat, dressed up as a boy, with a fake moustache. Everyone says: “What a lovely moustache.”
