I got my black patent Monday and I'm wearing them today. I love them and they look really lux for the price. I'd say they run true to size. I ordered an 8 1/2 (my usual size) and they fit perfectly.

I saw the Lalos way back on Steve Madden's website but I haven't bought them yet simply b/c I'm not sure which color I like best. It looks great in all the colors and then they came out with the Lustas so the decision was made even more difficult for me. All those different colors in closed back or the slingback.. I still can't decide. Now I heard they're being sold like hotcakes and I'm lucky if I find any of those colors in size 7.

Madden's Lalu is an "homage" to the Bruges. It comes in red, black, brown, white and tan. The site says that it'll ship to stores on March 10th - I've heard they are expected to sell fast. Jessica Simpson's line now has a knockoff Bruge too at Nordstrom for $78.95 - they're not on the website anymore. But there is a peeptoe slingback that is still on the site (and also comes in red & white patent). The heel isn't as high but they look really nice.

I saw those Jessica Simpson ones at Nordstrom today, and I have to say that the pics dont do the shoe justice. They look so much better in person. The are at least 4 inches high in heel height.

I also tried on the lalo's today at the Steve Madden store in black patent. They were very cute on!

I ordered them online tonight on nordstrom.com. It said the estimated shipping date was 4/4. I got a 7 in black patent, I hope they have more 7s!

(I mean the lalus, not the jessica simpson ones)

i talked to a nordstrom customer rep. they looked for a 7 and 7.5 for me and they said quite a few stores have them. so call them and they can locate a store near you that has them or they ship for free!

I just got them at the Dulles, VA store....but when I walked through tonight I didnt see them on display anymore so I am assuming that they sold out. They still had the peeptoe ones though. I used to be a manager at Nordstrom - when you call the BP shoe dept. ask a sales rep to charge send them to you, that will be faster than ordering through the website.
