Louis Vuitton F/W 2025.26 Paris

this content is meant for tik tok crowd , it's a mock nicolas mini documentary that is actually build around Felix, nicola and the clothes are just around as an excuse to call it backstage pass.

its cringe to watch
indeed. I mean the Felix guy name is on the title and he is having all the cringe quotes celebrities have at shows anyway, very different from the backstage they did years ago with Prigent.

I wish the girl who presented the whole thing actually interviewed Nicolas or even Florent.

I’m hoping that one day, Beccari is going to convince him to actually do a documentary on a collection.

Exactly, even worse than Loic Prigent backstage / collection videos with half length time wasted on clueless Kpop stars or celebs who do not even know what they are talking about and ending up with the usual boring PR written quotes "oh yeah I can't wait for the show to start...X designer is my favorite...the collection was beautiful...I wanna wear everything"
So cringe and passè...

What really makes me laugh about these PR stunts, is how insufferable the designers look when dealing with these asian celebs. They really just can't but you know, money is money after all. Some of these asian celebs know very little english, they might need interpreters to effectively engage a conversation and at the end, they whole interaction between them and the designers look so forced and awkward. I don't think Nicholas has anything to share in terms of vision, way of thinking and general approach to life with someone like Felix.
If I were Ghesquiere, I would feel insulted and humiliated to be asked to shoot a PR video with a beautiful shallow mannequin as Felix just to get some TikTok views and generate engagement. The part with Florent giving Felix modelling tips was hard to watch: "keep the chin down", "I mean you can totally ditch the bag if you want...chiiiiiiiill"...he was so close to let Felix piss on the venue as long as he was pleased.
Also I don't understand why they are pushing Felix so much on womenswear related activities when they get Lisa and generate more or less the same engagement.
Off topic: it's hilarious to see Maria Grazia dealing backstage with Jisoo when they are trying to communicate each other by gesture though LOL Jisoo is A2 english level at best and we all know Maria Grazia is not that fluent either...
At least Lallo is consistent with his vision and celebs endorsements: Harry Styles, Jared Leto

I’m happy everytime Nicolas gives a little access to his backstage but I’m still very confused on the Felix thing. I think I’m just too old for the Kpop phenomenon but is he really that big?

I don’t even think he ever got a Louis Vuitton campaign.
He is a no one to the general public in Korea; his boy group is lucky if they are able to break top 125 on the domestic charts. However, they've accumulated pockets of dedicated fans globally because their agency specializes in producing parasocial content so they have high interactivity when it comes to social media. Basically, they are a good low liability value. Popular enough to drive traffic, but not popular enough to make big financial demands or catch the ire of Kpop fans jealous their favs are not getting the same spotlight. Donatella also puts out cringe content with his bandmate.

In Asia a lot of men are buying the womenswear so I figure out that that’s why the womenswear is also trying to appeal to them with Felix but as I don’t necessarily know about his group, I though that he had some sort of influence there.
Thank you to @hamburgers for a the little info on the guy.

It’s part of the job sometimes. I mean designers have to accommodate people lol. I know Nicolas hates having cameras in the studio. A lot of designers actually hate it so I always find it so funny when they are doing reportages of when things are basically finished.

Something has always intrigued me with designers in general. They are always around actresses and directors. Weirdly, I don’t have any recollection of those people doing things regarding the work of a designer. Scorsese did something for Armani years ago but that’s it. But is fashion really that complicated to film?
All the documentaries about fashion proved that it isn’t and that everything that is needed is for the director to actually disappear.

Ps: the fact that I understood that the bag is a violin bag and that Felix though it was a yukulele is hilarious. I’m old I guess.
