We have to hand it to Kim Jones – Louis Vuitton menswear under his hand has never failed to impress, and for pre-fall 2013 it’s as strong, balanced, and charming as ever.

Impeccably tailored suiting, structured tote bags, transseasonal trench coats – all serve as the basis for a perfectly wearable, saleable, classic collection that’s then elevated to a new level of stylishness by the addition of layered prints, exposed patterned socks, shearling-collared coats and rounded sunglasses. There’s a sense of adventure to the collection too, as if LV is compelling their menswear clientele to aspire to a James Bond-like lifestyle of travel and physicality. Hence hiking boots, sporty outdoor quilted coats and breast pockets emblazoned with a stately compass motif.

I don't like it, so boring. What is in this collection that you cannot find anywhere else and the length of the pants is really unattractive :yuk:.

So true. I love everything in this collection, it's just delicious from the beginning to the end.

it's pretty basic, but that's Pre-Fall for you. the high water pants won't be making it to the store, everything else sure would feel great to have.

If it wasnt for the steam trunks, Id think Im looking at a Nautica catalog ...

Ps High waters, yay!
