Hate the shot of the bag with the giraffes. The sense of perspectives is all skewed and that bag is ugly. Would have been way more beautiful with just the giraffes if they really wanted the composite shot of those actual giraffes.
The studio shots are good. It's weird to not see Xavier Dolan...
The Giraffe shot is weird in a bad way.
I've always wondered who buys Vuitton mens bags. Back in the days when they did versions of Le Speedy, i sa and knew people who owned them but the majority of men in the shops are more interested in Nicolas designs (his version of Le Speedy and his backpacks).
No, it's not. I find him absolutely insufferable, so, personally glad to see the back of him. Love these images, finally something fresh, even if it looks a bit like Prada. Don't get the bag shot at all. The blue bag is far too bright for such a neutral setting.
The pose and the model's looks sell this ad. Luc Defont-Saviard has a healthy-looking tan and the pose of a dancer. The cuff, bracelet and plaid are very rock-and-roll/British punk. I wonder why Luc Defont-Saviard was chosen for the campaign.
I love Xavier. He is cute and he has a great style.... I just don't know if he is a Kim Jones man.
He wears the clothes well but I can see him more as a Prada "real fashion man" or even Nicolas Ghesquiere's Balenciaga-era menswear man...Maybe Chanel menswear.
For example, i don't know if he is going to embody the spirit of the "Supreme" collection.
