Louis Vuitton Menswear F/W 2025.26 Paris

i guess the point was saying street style is timeless by now ?

many products that the rich and flaunters love ( straight male ) and would wear yes like it or not it's the reality of LV ........

loud and obnoxious fashion its fine.

They aren’t even trying to hide that LV is the McDonald’s of the industry. What is luxury about this?

Basic patterns and garments.

Oh yeah, let’s do a leather oversized trunk for the ultra VIC and elite clients who are scared to say no because they want to attend show and receive other mindless perks and experiences that they could just as easily purchase.

Okay, we know that Vuitton has been mass market more than it has been a true fashion house.
-- Nothing about the collection felt very new to me. But we must remember Pharrell is, within limited terminology, a Vuitton customer. The pieces look like glorified pieces from his millenial-BBC-Ice Cream collections. The bags will be the main focus at this house beyond all of our deaths- let's be honest about that. The wheeling out of clear trunks- it's boring now.

The concepts? They are there. Vuitton has allowed for itself to profit of of urban culture influence at luxury price tags. And as long as lessers buy into that narrative- it will continue to sell. It's wanna-be wear for many. The symphony at the beginning- elevated. The (what sounded like) unreleased Pharrell produced Omarion track that played? Lower level.

Collection close and the soundtrack- unreleased Weeknd. Not impressed. It was almost as if they were checking boxes to represent a range of vibes- which they did well. I just don't think we can expect anything truly groundbreaking when Pharrell is at the helm, when he himself is as commercial as the label has become.

Let's remember, this is a luggage company, not a couture house. It will never be a couture house.

The set was excessive, but also not really anything. Fish eye lens- cut the drama, just sell your products.
But, we're watching.

I liked Vuitton's pre-fall, so I had expectations on this (setting a more daring and fashionable tone in the mens season versus the conservative Milano, which I also enjoyed).
The balance between tailoring and street, the "subtlety" in branding the garments through different techniques, the quite seductive color palette... all that I liked from pre-fall is absent here.

Instead we have tons of denim (it often looks like an upgraded version of Carhartt), unfortunate prints, skater apparel, unappealing colors, supervoluminous sneakers.

Except for the first four or five looks and a helmutlangesque black suit towards the end, a huge disappointment for me.

As always, there’s a lot to love here—so many standout pieces and unexpected choices. The bell bottoms are a highlight, along with the plaid cardigans and tailored shorts. The velvet tracksuit is effortlessly chic, and the croc leather trucker jacket is absolutely stunning. There are some incredible silhouettes, especially the bell-bottoms paired with the new ButterSoft sneakers and a varsity jacket - the defining look of the collection. The plaid coat is gorgeous... The color palette throughout is spot on.

On the flip side, there are a few missteps. The Coogi sweater with leather shorts feels off, and I’m just not a fan of anything Coogi, in general. The square-cut jackets miss the mark in every variation, and the denim look featuring LV branding feels like a real misstep. The section that follows feels like a remix of past LV Homme hits; those updates of the cloud monogram print and the monogram medallion flower jacket feel a bit repetitive.

But despite a few lows, this collection is truly exceptional. Pharrell and the LV design team are clearly in sync, with the team’s expertise in French craftsmanship elevating Pharrell’s ideas.

The many Monogram prints in this collection are so expertly distorted that the branding becomes almost imperceptible. In my opinion a huge success. The way Pharrell and LV have consistently integrated logo feels fresh and innovative.

The pink flower cardigan paired with khakis and maxi shoes is pure vision, and the pink bomber with leopard denim is another standout.

Every piece is bursting with creativity, pushing menswear forward in meaningful ways. LV Homme has never been stronger.

Carhartt by LV; hyper trendy. The shoes are awful but tbh at least a lot of it looks expensive, which is what the LV crowd wants. as always, the Minecraft squares and graffiti patterns they keep pushing are ugly af, but the guys pushing the carts were hot af 🫢
