Why even bother? What an absolute disaster of a relaunch, and a total non-event of a cover. To think of all those electric covers of Love shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott... to this. The word embarrassing doesn't even cut it.

Didn’t know that this magazine was making a comeback, it’s already looking VERY sad from the boring masthead (IMO the tacky illustrated thing that they used to do is part of the magazine) to the awful image choice. I don’t get the point of reviving this magazine when all the photographers that shot for it are now such a bore — Sorrenti, M&M, Vanderperre (when he actually had blood in his veins) among others…and the new crop of talents doesn’t sound like a terribly exciting proposition.

Katie Grand might be a terrible runway stylist (and person from what I gather) but under her leadership Love was definitely worth your time, in spite of the nepo babies and or try-hard gimmicks, it really had fun surprises and a particular attitude. This could easily be AnOther which is boredom embodied.

That advertising money must be too good to pass up. So it’s minimum effort for maximum profit as expected of these dire fashion days.

This era’s aesthetic of styling a pretty woman in literal bra/pantie/fishnets/stilettos and still resembling a clown in an awkward pose is just so hilariously confounding. That it took an army of (un)creatives to achieve an image that is literally, as @tigerrouge stated-- a woman picking out her wedgie LMFAO
