Yeah okay so what’s the point of this in the end? What is it saying and why is it the way that it is? It’s a passion project that exists for the sake of existing. Doesn’t really represent anything at all.

^^^ My suspicious mind tells me it’s a portfolio CV to any and all labels that will hire him: There’s a little from this and a little from that, but all reductively culminating with nothing to say. Him and Elena Velez seem to be stuck in this loop of forever 21 and always producing their graduate-level of budget aesthetic and production that always instantly remind you of designs/looks that have already been done, and done so much superior, while theirs are perpetually on the level of Shein. They’re not the only ones with that mentality; so many new names showing nowadays, in NYFW, PFW and HC, are all just sloppy-seconds of designs and looks of greater versions. It’s all so juvenile, but I suppose they’re all betting on being the next Sean McGirrr/Harris Reed/Veromica Leoni.
