Ludovic de Saint Sernin F/W 2025.26 Paris

out of everyone, he benefitted the most from the jpg couture collab. Everyone probably see him in a different light now.

Think he isnt trying to be but it feels a bit mcqueen minus the tailoring

I am liking his « work » more and more. Am I concerned about myself having admit that ? Yes. But I really appreciate someone not afraid to give us something so unabashedly grown-up, raw, sexy, and severe. I am tired of everyone putting art projects on the runway or this « old money » thing.

If you saw this figure walking towards you on a dark and shadowy street, you can't tell me you wouldn't run the hell away shrieking.

Nope, I just would think "hey, that guy looks like a cross between Rick and Tyrone!..their bastard child!!"

About the collection, you can tell the improvement...but it still reeks of sex-shop.

He's definetly reigned himself in, so in comparison to what we've come to expect from Ludovic, this is an achivement, but objectively, I wouldn't categorize this as "good"

that being said, the fact that he (seemingly) is willing to adapt and learn is both surprising and commendable

Part of this is good but most of it has that LaQuan Smith gutterball hooker trashiness

He taps into sex, but it still lacks sensuality and maturity. Miles above what he has done before, but at the end of the day a lot of this is still a bra, panties and a skirt or coat thrown on. There’s a flimsiness to this similar to Nensi Dojoka, LaQuan and Dilara.

Find it odd that the opening look is the only women’s look that includes pants. A missed opportunity to expand the collection, bar those terrible men’s pieces.
