ooh me likey! esp the cute tshirts paired with sequins. Thanks for posting anais! :flower:

I love it too! It's playful and it seems nautical is here to stay which I love. I like the play of contrasts, dressy sequins with casual cottons, trashy patents with lady-like dresses.

I like it simply for not being a shiny/metallic beige like every collection out there! It's nice, nautical, cool, cheery, a little French but a far cry from the wit, sassiness and bite of her earlier collections eg. "Daddy I want a pony". Feels light and fresh like a spring collection should,..but she can do better.:) Sigh, it seems so far, all the NY designers could have done better. What gave?

apart from apparent unoriginality i luv non - spring look and that it has a bit of spunk and attitude.... and tinuvial if u luv sequins and tops ideas look up a designer called trelise cooper on aussie vogue site - unfortunatly for luella trelise did this look LAST s/s

i love the suspenders/braces....which i naturally adore, but it's quite cute in this collection. It's decent, I like Luella

this dress reminds me of stella mc carntey too!
I like the collection, very 50's,60's, there is some good things like the white skinny jean with the blue trench:heart:

I adore the last 5 looks in the second set. I did feel echoes of Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, Oscar de la Renta, Roland Mouret - but I think that she did not have to heavily rely on them and it wasn't the main basis of her collection - so it worked anyway. It is quite a step away from the sort of avant-garde 80s feel that she began with in the very beginning but I much prefer this whimsical, pretty but not frou frou aesthetic. I am absolutely in love with the heart motifs!

looks like she has her sense of humour back again..... which is good to see. Quite like some of this.

Querelle looks incredibly ugly in those pictures... who made her dye her hair blonde?!

As for the collection... it´s so-so... I also like the sequinned t-shirt.

and the dress with the big heart is quite cute...the rest I'm not a big fan

On a whole I love it. I'd love to add some of these pieces and I really love the suspenders. It's so fun. I like the stripes and hearts too.

finally...a collection i can imagine wearing for this spring/summer...everything else has seemed to be a weird amalgam of floaty fabric and ugly print or ugly fabric and metallic sheen. I love the rockabilly vibe.

i like it.....
its fun and fresh and youthful.....but there's a few sophisticated pieces in there....

nice splashes of color....light-hearted.....a little bit provocative......

it would usually be a bit 'out there' for my tastes.....but there is also something tailored and almost a little but 'prim' about it.....

i think its great.... :flower:

All of that nautical influence makes me kind of seasick  I did love this outfit though:
