LUSH products? Faves and Raves please

Is Enzymion really good for oily skin? Even during the summer months? Cocoa butter as one of the main ingredients scares me a bit...
All opinions are welcome
I use enzymion and I have oily skin, it seems pretty good! Definitely reduces the oiliness when you first put it on.

I recently got the babyface cleanser, it seems quite oily and with having oily skin was a bit concerned. The guy said it would be fine if I used it with toner, has anyone else tried it? I have rose water toner at the moment but I'm thinking of swapping to tea tree cleanser instead as it's meant to be good for spots.

Thanks :flower: Tea Tree Toner didn't really help me with reducing my ocassional spots...pure tea tree oil is a much better option.

I got a sample of The Blonde shampoo when I got charity pot at my last trip to Lush. I took a picture of my hair before using it and will take one a week later to compare and see if there are any changes in the color...to be continued. I do want to say, I really like the shampoo so far. It has a very nice scent that made my hair feel fresh all day long. It lathers very well in the shower and rinses clean. So far so good!

^ I kinda liked that shampoo but it didn't change my haircolour at all.

I'm still really liking The Blonde shampoo and can't tell if my hair looks lighter because of the shampoo or because I was out in the sun this weekend!

I SWEAR by their Angels on bare skin stuff. It really really really is amazing. I no longer use any of my old stuff which is sad coz it was pricey but I don't need anything else. They also have a garlic based face mask thats wonderful for the skin im actually gonna put it on tonight.

I love LUSH- it always makes me feel like being at the beach :) At the moment my favourites are: Honey Trap lip balm (smooth and chocolatey); Lip Squeak lip balm (soothing and apple-like); American Cream solid perfume (deliciously vanilla); Sweet Japanese Girl (massage bar) and Brazen Honey (masque).
With the Sweet Japanese Girl, start with clean skin and rub the bar into your face. It massages in really well and has lots of grainy bits, and I usually rub it in gently for about 5 minutes. Then, rinse it off really well with hot water and apply the Brazen Honey masque. Its also really gritty, so don't over-exfoliate when you apply it. Leave on for a few minutes, and voila! Beautiful, soft skin :)

Does the garlic mask leave behind a scent? What is the name of the product?

Cosmetic Warrior. It smells AWFUL, but works so wonderfully.

FYI - with blonde...it will add golden tones to your hair, but wont actually lighten it. It works well if you already have light hair. If you have brown/black hair it wont actually do anything for your hair.

I am deeply in love with Tramp showergel. I just love oakmoss and patchouli together.
I also love Dream Cream deeply.
Yup, those are my two favorites!

That's what i have noticed about the blonde. My hair is blonde and using The Blonde made it look more like it does in the summer..a little lighter a little brighter. Its nice and smells wonderful!

Daddy O - the purple shampoo will brightern blonder hair. It neutralized any brasiness and reduces gold tones to whiten and brighten them

My friend recently bought Angels on Bare Skin and was told that unless she bought the tin to store it in her product would evaporate in the shower. I have purchased two different face washes (Angels being one of them) and have never been told that and have never noticed the shower was doing any damage to the product...

I wouldnt keep in AOBS in the shower. It cant be near moisture or it gets mushy and starts to mold. I always kept mine out of the bathroom.

the products are amazing, last week i bought a bag of goodies, shaving cream, soaps, shower gels, bubble bars and bath bombs blackberry, champagne, avobath, vanilla, lavender.

i have slightly oily acne prone skin. i'm thinking of trying either the coalface cleanser or fresh farmacy...what are your thoughts/comments/reviews?
thanks in advance! :flower:

I used to have somehow similar skin to yours, still found FF extremely drying. On the other hand Coalface worked pretty well.

You might also want to consider Aqua Marina. Fresh Farmacy makes a great spot treatment though. So you might consider getting a small piece that you can use for spot treating any breakouts.

Wet the bar and dab onto the spot and sleep with it on. It really dries out and clears up any breakout spots.

Godiva and Ianastar, thanks for your reply!
I ended up getting the Coalface. I've used it once and i love it! My skin was matte all day, and hopefully it'll clear my skin up...
