LUSH products? Faves and Raves please

I love all the LUSH bath products, but their 'natural' face masks are just a little too....natural for me. I only wish we had LUSH down here in TX.

ok i bought a lip balm yesterday from lush, amongst other things, but it is sooooo dry!! i beraly get any on my lips, and i rub it for ages! i don't know what to do! When, and if i do get some product on my lips, it is soo nice, but i don't want to struggle everytime! Is there anything to be done?

have you got a kitchen cupboard that sits above your kettle...?put it in there and boil the kettle...

no i don't...but there has got to be some solution!! there must be a way to use a lip balm even when you are not in your kitchen!

I LUSH!

Whipstick,it's a chocolate lip balm, leaves my lips moisturized and smells heavenly.

Karma soap,it lathers up so nicely and smells wonderful.I do love the orange and patchouli scent of Karma,it's refreshing.

Ginger Soap, though this is not a typical ginger scent (too strong),the quality is excellent.

Aqua Mirabillis,body exfoliating products. Really did my skin glow,healty,soft.I love the yummy smell and it feels wonderful to glide onto skin.

For face,Enzymion moisturizer is wonderful. I use it in the summer only as a T-zone mattifier and it works better than any oil-control products I've tried before. The papaya and lemon extracts make this moisturiser smell damn yummy


Angel on Bare Skin, the face scrub. It's gentle enough for my sensitive skin, yet is exfoliating as well, and makes my skin feel so soft after use. It smells nice and I like the idea of using more natural products.

I love Coolaulin, it makes my hair soft and non-fuzzy. And i've had many compliment about the subtle coconut smell it leaves in my hair .

I also really like their dream cream and the karma komba bar. It's a pity the shampoo bars stick to pretty much everything while you let them dry .

Buffy the backside slayer. A scrub made from almonds and rice I think. Anyway I feel super smooth and moisturised after. Just goes too quick in the wet.

I bought Shimmy Shimmy [massage bar] yesterday and ohhhh, I love it!

It smells so nice and it works amazingly.

Look at my shoulder.

I also bought baby face and it took off my really really messy makeup so easily. It really works wonder! Because previously I spent half an hour taking my waterproof makeup and now it only takes 3 mins or so. Love it!

I dont know what its called now but the product they used to call 'middle earth turns to rock' was a great exfoliator!

I've tried maybe 3 of the moisturisers, and i found that 1) they are way overpriced for what you are getting; 2) They contain just as may chemicals as the next department store/drugstore products (but they dont even contain sunscreen!);3) the quality isnt that great- usually they just sit on top of the skin like an oily,greasy coating (Celestial especially!)

Yeah, I think their moisturizer did that to me too.

What chemicals did they have?

I thought they were supposed to have less chemical.

skip the toothpastes. They are a waste of money.

They dont work well...........and dont stay on the tooth brush well, or lather at all. And dont leave your mouth feeling fresh.

They are just gimmicky and a waste of money.

Some of the stuff is awful. I used a face wash (it contained sea weed, I can't remember the name but it looked like sushi) and all it did was make my skin dry and smell awful.

The lip balms I find are way too drying.

The soaps however are lovely. I especially love the deep sea one.

Aqua Marina....yeah its not that great either.


I find most of the lip balms drying too, which is interesting as lip balms should moisturize not dry out the lips. Whipstick and Lip Service are good though, and do wonders for the lips.

That's the one! It made my sink look a right mess!
