i really hope with the new-found mainstream attention and the carousing she's doing with these crap-rappers she doesn't begin to change her direction. i mean,it was hard enough for me to accept the collab she did with timbaland but i don't know how i feel about her sudden filtration into the homogenised world of pop rap. she's such a genius in her form of hip-hop because she's the only one i've heard in some decades that's actually got something substantial to say. and she experiments with sound.

hahaha she's the cutest girl on earth. I don't worry that she'll be affected by other rappers or change her content. Judging from the interviews that she's given, she seems aware of how different her music is in comparison to other rappers. I mean, how could she not be? I think she mentioned in an interview that she attempted to work with Three 6 Mafia and they told her that she should just sing about sex. She resisted and admitted that their collaboration didn't go anywhere.

I wouldn't call Jay-z or Kanye( I hate his attitude), or even Lil Wayne crap. I really liked Timbaland older stuff with Missy and Aaliyah. But we all have different taste.

M.I.A told Desi Hits! recently, "It doesn't matter to me if it's a boy or a girl. If it's a girl she will be a tough girl, but I think I may have a boy because I have a pointy stomach." So was she right? Well on February 12th her instinct proved to be true as the new addition to her family is a baby boy! Congrats M.I.A! For the past few months there has been major hype around MIA's pregnancy and the artist has happily spoken about it to media.

When Desi Hits! asked M.I.A. what are some things she wants to teach her child, she responded by saying, "I would teach my child tons of things. I want my child to see third world countries, and be humble about what he or she has, and have sound judgment". Sounds like the child is going to have an awesome upbringing! Having cool parents like M.I.A .and Benjamin Brewer doesn't make that surprising at all. M.I.A. shared her joy with Desi Hits! when she told us that being pregnant was her biggest accomplishment in her life! We are so happy for M.I.A. and Benjamin Brewer!
