I'm surprised she was not featured in the anniversary issue of Dutch Vogue...

She did the VS casting for the show, didn't get cast. Better luck next year, but she's not a great fit with their lineup right now. She's not going to compete with Romee, Candice, and the other like 15 blonde girls with big blue eyes.

Still though we'll see. I love her in HF, I don't know if her look is commercial enough for big success with VS, but I could be wrong.

She's not going to be cast in VS, and I did miss her from the Dutch Vogue issue; still I'm surprised about the level of hand-wringing here about Maartje, by any measure (esp. today's turnover rate), on balance she's one of the most successful and enduring models working—steadily working—out there.

Curious, why do you guys think she won't be a good fit for VS? They hired some very odd choices in the past, such as Yumi Lambert. And look at Sanne Vloet, I feel like she and Maartje resemble each other. So I feel like Maartje has a chance.

But she's only 19, she's only been old enough to walk the show twice, and before she was on top of it HF wise and didn't "need" to do VS since she had plenty of other jobs.

I think that once she grows her hair out and dyes the blonde back to her natural color that her bookings will pick up.
But then again, casting directors dump girls like crazy so it's hard for anyone to stay in the game for a long time.
