^ What a fitting editorial as she knows her way around horses so well.

So she spent the whole time in Paris and didnt book a show???

She was in London taking a test for school up until this past weekend, must not have been able to work out any shows because of it.

Her instagram says she did a quick day trip to London a week ago but has been in Paris since then.

Hot 20: The Clotheshorse, Runway Model Mackenzie Drazan

HOT. The word carries so many meanings: passionate, sizzling, trendy, intense, and yes, sexy. But for us, it signals our favorite month. Meet the 20 movers and shakers that have us fired up this year.

Who can say where Mackenzie Drazan is more comfortable: on horseback, facing a four-and-a-half-foot-tall hurdle, or in stilettos, walking a Paris runway?

The Woodside native has found equal success with competitive jumping and catwalk modeling, although the latter has given her recognition in broader circles and an exhaustive tour of the world (she calls British Airways her second home).

Drazan was first approached to be a model at age 12—her parents vetoed it—and then approached again at 14. That’s when she signed on with San Francisco–based Stars Model Management. “I liked the idea of having something to help fund my horseback riding.”

The paychecks do roll in, from magazine shoots for Vogue and shows with Valentino, Chanel, Phillip Lim, and dozens of others. But she must balance online high school classes with a demanding profession that’s had her work nearly 60 shows in one season. Multitasking might be her secret—“I spend hours walking around the house in my pajamas, doing homework while [practicing in] my highest pair of heels.”

Her season wasn't as good past seasons but she still walked for some good shows (Prabal Gurung, Michael Kors, Ports 1961, etc.)

Love that editorial for Harper's Bazaar Japan. Her presence is still really strong even with the intense silhouettes from the styling. Her print work is getting better and better.
