I think a lot of it is height as well - most Asians (although not all) are relatively short as a whole, so that's part of why they'd never really "make" it here. I think with the height requirement, and as it is in every ethnicity, there are always much more "generic" looks, and even when there are OUTSTANDING people, facially speaking, often their height isn't tall enough for runway work here.

I'm mostly Asian (save for some weird genes somewhere back there) but I didn't get any height genes, sadly...I'm only 5'4"...:: sigh :: I was kind of hoping my dad would balance me out (he's 5'10"). Nope. Ah well. I have Gemma Ward's bone structure (facially speaking), though.

I wish they'd pick a full blooded Asian girl. She's gorgeous but come on...most women in Asia do not have that bone structure. Don't know about anyone else, but it just makes me wish even more that I don't look so asian.

i have her face shape, and double-lidded eyes, but that's about all...(i'm asian, in case u didn't realise lol) but no way do i have her stature, i'm only 5'4

I think she's very beautiful, and it would be nice to have an asian model in high fashion who doesn't have that fierce appeal, such as Ai Tominaga (whom I also think is very beautiful) and now Hye Park.

She's a bit different from current asian models.

so here's my assessment of Mackenzie's features and future success and/or failures...

She looks more asian than caucasian...
She's got full lips... which is a plus...
She's got the required height for runway...
She's photogenic...
She's got nice jawline...
In some pix she looks like a young Patricia Valesquez...

...overall, if she likes modeling and she's dedicated to it and proved on it she'll be around for a long time both on camera and off camera-- runway

The girl has potential.... especially on the runway.

I feel shes very versatile, I dont think shes spent much time in New York, or none at all. Shes at DNA, but she dosen't have any polaroids, or other shots besides ones posted here, she hasnt tested with the usual photographers DNA works with like Kevin Sinclair or Radek & Grossman. ...heres to hoping she'll go to NY..
