Model Mania: Magdalena Jasek is a 21st Century Girl
Elle Muliarchyk is a photographer and multimedia artist who aims to reinvent the way we look at fashion and beauty images. She is known for injecting her work with a sense of humor, and a bit of magic. For this project, she teamed up with Art Director Vita Raykhman, and stylist Priscilla Polley, to do some quick-change transformations with some of coolest models around from The Society Management. We then had the girls answer our version of a Proust Questionnaire, and it showed they are just as fun and inventive off camera as they are in front of it.

Kicking off the series, here’s 21 year old Polish model, Magdalena Jasek.

Yahoo Style: What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Magdalena Jasek: Having no worries, doing what you love, and being surrounded by the people you love.

YS: What is your greatest extravagance?
MJ: Books, notebooks, art supplies (I even don’t know what to do with them, but I keep buying them anyway).

YS: What’s your most treasured possession?
MJ: Happiness.

YS: If you weren’t a model, what job would you most like to have?
MJ: I have no idea. Probably something related to math.

YS: What is the last book you read?
MJ: Pet Sematary by Stephen King

YS: Who is your hero in fiction (books/movies/etc)?
MJ: Guido Orefice from Roberto Benigni’s movie - Life is Beautiful. It’s my favorite movie, and his character is a real hero who did everything he could to brighten up his son’s days and save him from death.

YS: What is your life motto?
MJ: I actually don’t have any!

YS: Which word or phrase do you use the most?
MJ: The Polish phrase “bez jaj” - you can translate it as “no kidding.”

YS: Have you ever wished you lived during another time? Which one and why?
MJ: Not really. I think I’m really lucky to be born in the end of the 20th century and live my life in the 21st. People’s lives weren’t so easy and full of amazing opportunities in the past. When I was younger, still in middle school and had to study for exams, I was hoping to live in the past. But now I know that I would become crazy with a life like that - especially when you can’t even decide who you will marry. Plus, it was probably really boring compared to what I’m doing now!
