Model Moment: Makenzie Weinman shines in new F!D luxe

Model Makenzie Weinman from the Campbell Agency makes her second appearance in F!D luxe this month. We had readers email us if we had snagged one of the Olsen twins for our issue the last time. Her flowing blond locks, pucker lips and doll-like face had us swooning and more importantly, New York took notice. The 18-year old signed with power house agency IMG Models. We caught up:

F!D: Favorite part of this shoot?
MW: Well, let me just say that you know your job is great when you get paid to wash the hairspray out of your hair and get your makeup off in a shot.

F!D: What are your future plans?
MW: I just graduated from Plano West (sigh of relief) and I am moving to New York where I signed with IMG Models. I'm still waking up and thinking it's all a dream that I am finally moving to New York. Just don't ask me what I want to do with my life I am still trying to figure that out myself and the spontaneity is exciting!

F!D: Favorite thing you wore on the shoot
MW: Tammy Theis (F!D's fabulous art director) has an incredible eye for flawlessly combining a kind of twenties forties glamour with a modern day twist - but if I must pick one thing it would have to be the Alberta Ferretti dress (shown). Can you say GORGEOUS?
