^ glad to see another malajube lover here..... i wouldn't be surprised if they become (well they ARE becoming) a big commercial success..... ! their new cd is half good rock music, half commercial music.....
^ their show last night was excellent.... pierre lapointe didn't show up, and so the singer invited a fan to sing montreal -40C with him and the poor boy didn't know the words....
i met a few of the band members as well but I wont elaborate further on that point.....
^ well all i can say is I went backstage (well it was more downstairs than backstage) and I met all of them except for thomas (the guy on the keyboard)....
Kimkhuu.. Thank you for sharing ... and open my eyes to Malajube .. I love them, very unique and original.. some of the best and interesting "new" music I have heard for a while ... and this discussion about being "underground" is not really that important, what is more important is how they will react to the succes, you are talking about Kimkhuu, how they can keep beeing creative, original... following those lines of flight..
i was looking through the new release stacks at the radio station i work at and i just saw it! we must have just gotten it in a few weeks ago..i've given it a listen and it's really good! i really like pate filo too...and i think it's getting a lot of airplay around here so it's bound to end up on the top 30 chart....well deserved! thanks kimkhuu!
