Missoni Sorry they aren't getting back to you. Why don't you call them?

What about calling the New York store just for info? Perhaps they can at least answer some of your questions. I'm sorry I don't know anything about Manolo SOs.

Hello Ladies...

Forgive my absence..as I have been on a shoe hiatus of late...however I have just moved to San Francisco...and in celebration of a promotion at work, went shopping in the city today. I am thrilled to say I picked up the MB zebra sedaraby with the 4 inch heel.. just FABULOUS!

Hope all of the lovely ladies of MB are doing well:flower:

Bella, welcome back! We sure mised you. Congrats to your promotion and the zebra sedarabys :flower:. Please post modelling pics when you get the chance.

Well I'm back from my Paris trip and came back to two Manolo deliveries.....the zebra Sedaraby and the pink satin with black feather shoe. Considering that I am supposed to be cutting back for the wedding budget I have decided to return the lime green shoes since I wasn't in love with them. But the other two are keepers...I'm a lil weirded out about getting the Zebras dirty with the fabric. The pink satin/feather shoes are going to be my wedding shoes I believe.

I love the idea of using color for a shoe as a bride, BlkLadyLaw, and those are breathtakingly beautiful.

I have been concerned with the Zebras and dirt, too. I haven't worn mine yet (well, except around the house ;)) and keep meaning to ask my shoe guy if there's anything to be done about protecting them - it's been a whale of a month, though.

Has anyone else done anything similar for fabric shoes? Can the shoe guy spray them with a protector that won't damage the fabric? JetSet, did you get a chance to ask your shoe guy about your Zebras? Thanks in advance! :flower:

Hey Velony and Fashion! Thank you for the 'welcomes', I too have missed you ladies. :flower:

As for the fabric on the Zebras... I am in the same boat. There HAS to be a 'protector/scotch guard' type treatment. I will research as well..perhaps gucci knows of a trick or two. But of course.... IMHO..my zebras will be a summer sunshine/evening, no rain, no puddles, no denim kind of Sedaraby:blush:

Ciao Bella!!!! I have really missed you! I kept thinking about you and your move. Congrats on your new job! Hope all is settling well.

Sayrahtee! I sooo need to call you. We need to hang out and somehow avoid spending oodles of money on shoes!!!! So funny you are talking about this subject! I just treated mine today! I got this stuff called "flour Seasons Weather Guard" from a good NY cobbler who said it was the best stuff available. They look good so far...no color change or whatever....

The can says "Protects leather, suede, nubuck, and fabric from water and oil-based stains."

BlkLadyLaw Simply stunning! I love those shoes so much , it's crazy!

Also, here is a link to many Manolos that will be on Sale starting May 27 at Barneys New York

Hey JetSet! I have seen you about PF... miss you too! I am glad to be back..although as an 'innocent bystander' not much on the shoe budget horizon however I will check out the Barney's sale..Also, I will check out the protectant you mentioned...I cannot seem to find it online. Is there a name brand to it? Also is it safe to assume it is 'Four' Seasons..not 'Flour'?^_^

.....Thanks!:flower:

Thanks for posting the Manolos that are going on sale, JetSet! I was just about to ask if anyone knows which styles are going on sale.

CB Hahaha! Yes, it's Four Seasons, not Flour! hehehehehe!

I've also looked online, but have had no luck finding it.
I was hoping I could provide you a link!

Here is the info on it.

I did not do a lot of research on this stuff. The guy just said it was the best. Who knows though!? I would say Kiwi Camp Dry or something like that would be perfect too.

I, too, am trying to stay 'innocent,' though it is proving very difficult for me.

Did you know my sister lives in SF? I love it there! ;)

Velony You're welcome! Let us know if you get anything. I work with Abby at the New York store. She's a doll. :flower:
