Are there any online sites that sell Manolos?

As I mentioned before I'm aware only about this one http://www.neimanmarcus.com/

I also want to cool down my previous message excitement and after I saw most of the collection and everything is so expensive, I don't know...., I think this summer I'll buy Stuart Weitzman sandals instead (IMO Stuart Weitzman is very "abandoned"(underrated) brand here on TFS, but it's another subject.)

Hi everyone! I am new here :) I've never really been a MB fan but I've been seriously lemming some shoes that he makes for designer runways. They are so unique and amazing, nothing like his regular line. Does anyone know if these are for special orders only? If not, where can I find these? I'm in love with the styles he made for Thakoon last f/w, and these for Rachel Roy...*swoon*

does anyone know if his shoes fit quite large? Because there is a pair I am interested in which are listed as 35.5 but the insole is 10". It a mule with a strap across it, so I wasn't sure if the pointed toe was actually making that 10" more like 9.25"? Any thoughts?

My feet measure 6.5 (American) and I usually wear a 37 in open toe styles. The pointed toe is probably counted in the measurement...what size do you usually wear?

Yes some of his shoes do fit large. Some don't :( I think most people size down in the Sedaraby and similar styles.

here is another site that sells Manolos.

My friend passed by it on a recent trip to NYC....and sent me the link and I just bought 3 pairs of shoes!!! I can't believe the deals.

thanks for the link gg!

Sorry fashiongrrrl for my seriously late reply! For example, here is a pair of orange ostrich skin slingbacks which are listed as 35.5 but the insole is 10". Even accounting for a pointed toe, that would fit more like 9.5 which seems to be a pretty solid 37. non?

FANTASTIC site GG! Thanks!:flower:

On another note...would you happen to know (or own:woot:) the nude heel SJP wore in the SATC movie? It has a large band/strap over the top of the foot then open area and then another strap closer to the toeline...would love any info, photos, store references...I want them:ninja:

Forgive the photo...but I am hoping someone can ID these manolos from the SATC movie...TIA!

They have a closed heel...wide strap over the bridge of the foot with a small strap just over the toe line...

Could someone give me a summary or description of what Manolo Blahnik's are. Like is there a specific look to them, that you could look at a pair of shoes and know they're Manolo's as you would be able to recognize Christian Louboutin's? What distinguishes the aesthetic of Manolo's from other shoe brands?

I'm just trying to be more aware of what's out there and broaden my horizons. I've never gotten Manolo hype and I don't buy into a label because the name is popular if I haven't any of my own research. I find that appreciates the value and the label.

The 'Blahnik' heel is very specific. It is his creation, copied by many of course. Louboutins look a bit sexier in their execution, and with crimson-painted soles actually.

Their design philosophies are difficult to describe, you must study them yourself. Choos use a lot of hardware and jewels for instance, CLs are a bit more dramatic and ostentatious, and Manolos are simpler but definitely girliest of all. All of them are getting taller and taller lately, and more and more expensive.
