zarina, the sedaraby is fabric. i actually saw this IRL at the stores. it's REALLY pretty. the rhinestone buckle is slightly different than those from the SATC sedaraby. the shape of the stones are different and the shape of the buckle is different.

stilleto - yeah, that new mary jane style is AWESOME. apparently the patent one also comes in nude color as well, but there was no picture for it.

a nude version would make your legs go on FOREVER !! :woot:

thanks for posting! love the sedarabys. are they really made of fabric. it looks like it could be leather. so beautiful. also like the open toe mary janes as I've been a fan of the regular ones for a while now.

those MJ's are so pretty. they are rather similar to CL's though.

the heel shape and the toe opening are entirely different.

and I like manolo's version better

^ agree. i drooled over the CL ones before, but i honestly think the manolos are much better and i bet the fit better too.

and yes, the nude ones would make your feet go on forever! :) i wish they have a picture of the nude one. i am curious about the shade of nude on the shoes.

louboutins always seem to be very narrow, with poor arch support- and the heels are set to the back of the shoe rather than directly under the heel. This to me is both physically and aesthetically unbalanced.

Well said, Stiletto! :clap:I own one pair of Louboutins (4.5 inches) and they still hurt me after FOUR years (so much for the wisdom of 'breaking in a shoe'). I absolutely refuse to wear them in walking cities like New York or Hong Kong. Yes, they are tall and extremely sexy, but there is nothing less sexier than one limping and weeping in her heels within two hours!

I don't find my Louboutins less comfortable than my Manolos and I like the set back heel on styles like Helmut and Pigalle, but on the Simple pump I agree that the heel doesn't match rest of the shoe. But Manolo also has styles which I don't like.

As a rule, Manolo does much more curvaceous heels than eg CL. That makes them way more pleasing to my eye, both on and off foot.

I've just ordered a new pair of black mary janes from NM. Never ordered from NM before - with living in the UK had to do it over the phone and by giving my card details to the (lovely) guy who answered. It is safe isn't it??? Hate doing it that's all and am paranoid. He also, by the way, told me there was a wait list of a week, a month, six months who knows ring back in a week with your order number! :o

womanolo,
i ordered my first manolos through NM years ago and did teh same thing.
they arrived no problem but i had to pay some duties. dont remember how much but it was still worth it.
they are my fave pair of shoes almost ;)

He's a real artiste and his shoes are like sculptures on your feet ... I like the NM exclusive camo-print sandals... reminds me of what Victoria wore in Spice Girl's movie "Spiceworld".

i know these have been posted before but after weeks of waiting, i finally have my cabbage heels. they are 105 mm. it's all thanks to guccigal, who advised me where to buy them from.

The shoe itself is fine, but the decorations seem a bit overdone. Color is cool though.
