This is odd. They re re-issuing a style that can still be bought fairly cheaply for resale. Or maybe MJ has a deal with resale sites to pull/repurchase older pieces to make these more saleable.

I was never a fan of Jessica Stam and Coco Rocha (I can say this now on tFS without the risk of getting dragged, maybe not in 2013? Lol). And I'd lie if I say I knew she had a handbag named after her. But the campaign looks stunning. Great for what it is. The only Y2K element is the cast names strung together. Nothing particular is giving Y2k.

Ofc Jessica is the main star of this campaign but I was very surprised to see Ashanti! I don't think she's ever been in a high fashion campaign?

Marc used to have more bags named after models, I think. He once even had a 'Suvi' bag, that I'm sure of.

that's because the Stam isn't actually a y2k bag, it came about after that particular style was consigned to the dustbin. Whatever people think of as 'y2k' style i.e. late 90s/early 00s, by 2003-04 it was dead and high fashion had a way of making that really clear.
