Marc Jacobs Blondie T-Shirts

Any chance they'll restock these shirts since they're obviously making money from them? :shifty:

i just bought a gold blondie shirt (medium men's) today at the melrose store. the guy told me they had a few more left in the gold. i personally like this size for myself, even though i'm relatively on the small side and a girl; i just think it looks nice as a looser t-shirt.

EskimoGirl, I'm curious to know how you like the size ... so it's not too big? what size do you usually wear and how far does the shirt reach down your body?

just called vegas, they have navy, red, orange, green, blue in med and up...gray in xl... 20 bucks and no tax! what a steal  also, check out the special tees on marcjacobs.com, the anti war ones. i thought about it but then i'm in NC and probably wouldn't be very popular if i got one here :P

i don't know how much money the company is making on shirts that are $20. it's more of a promotional item used to generate interest in the company than somehting the generate revenue.

yes, agreed, leviathan. the SA said there was no tax as the proceeds all go to charity, so rather a guilt free purchase :flower:

marqueemoon- it reaches down around my butt, and as far as my normal sizes go, i usually wear either a woman's small or medium. however, a) this is an all cotton t-shirt, so it'll probably shrink a bit and b) i like the way it looks a little on the big side (possibly with black leggings or tighter jeans).

where can i get one of these in the uk?

As far as I know, the shirts are only sold in Marc Jacobs stores, and there's one store in Europe in France, I believe. You could always try eBay. I'm sure there are sellers who are willing to ship to the UK.

i just got the medium navy blondie tee, eskimogirl. how tall are you? i'm about 5 foot 8. thanks.

pigleto - nice to see you on here as well! I'm 5'9", and the medium doesn't quite reach my butt. I tried the shirt on for size while wearing jeans, and the shirt hit around my front pockets. That was a pretty terrible description, but maybe eskimogirl can offer a better picture

oooh yeah, i'm an all around shopaholic  i ESPECIALLY have a soft spot for marc jacobs wooohoo! plus blondie is cool

thanks for the info, i don't mind if it's too long, nowadays jeans run low so i don't mind having a bit of a coverup when i'm sitting down or bending down to pick something up, if you know what i mean  he he he

pigleto- i'm around 5' 7", and the shirt reaches about mid-butt (haha, i'm trying it on again right now to be sure). but, i have a ridiculously short torso and very long legs, so on someone with normal proportions, it would probably a little bit below the waist.

pigleto- not a problem! I know what you mean about MJ  I agree about longer shirts being a great thing. I can't get enough of longer tees and knits!

not a problem, pigleto, glad to help. i hope you enjoy your shirt as much as i do!

i'm 5'7" too and i also have really long legs with a short torso. Pants look good on me, but I have a hard time finding shirts that fit. I wish I could trade an inch or two between my legs and torso.

marqueemoon- i know exactly what you mean...just to even things out a bit, :D.

marquee- Do you still want me to take a photo of the shirt on? If so, what is your email (feel free to PM me if you don't want to post it in the thread)?
