Marc Jacobs

From what I've been reading around the forums not everyone on here is crazy about Marc Jacobs. I, on the other hand, bet to differ. I love his style and his collections are ALWAYS beautiful. I've never really looked at nor liked his bags as much as his clothes... but, I've changed my mind. His new bags are gorgeous. So, I just had to share pictures:

I really think his pearl quilted Venetia is quite pretty.

That will probably be one of the bags that I would buy from his Fall collection, if I had to buy one.
However to be honest, I sense that Marc Jacobs designs seem to be losing steam, they are getting more and more generic.

As it was mentioned in another thread, his bag designs for LV and his own label are starting to morph together.

I like a lot of the new styles he has come out with this year. Those two you posted are also gorgeous. Just to let you know, the Pearl Quilted Venetia is mislabeled. That bag is actually the Adina (it is on his site).
Might be important to know if you plan on calling an MJ boutique to order.

i quite like his clothing collections sometimes....one or two pieces here or there pieced with other things are beautiful....but i have to beg to differ when it comes to these bags...i think they're horrid....they have such a cheap look....just my humble opinion of course

probably because Marc Jacobs designs for both Louis Vuitton and his own line...poor guy can't really think of any new ideas

i was going to originally get the taupe Stam for fall...but they watered it down from the runway version by not including a second thick gold chain strap that really made the bag, but without it looks like its missing something

Dont forget Dior who revived the LadyDior which is essentially a complicated quilt and of course Chanel. For fall Chanel showed flat-quilt bags, just the threads without any pouf, I like them so much more than the standard pouf quilt which looks really stuffy. I just noticed that's a box chain on that Chanel bag, that makes it so much fresher since everyone is doing the leather and gilt chain.

I think that the best quilted bags will always be by Chanel. They're always pretty much the same, but you can't beat the design. I love them.

The only problem is that I love so many bags, but I don't use leather, so I'm left with only looking at them. If only designers went towards offering a pleather alternative. Hopefully that'll be happening soon seeing how more and more celebrities are getting more in tune with the animals their things are made of.

Crossing my fingers for that.
