The chalk Elise is to die for. After seeing pics of Lilo carrying the blue I had to see it. Drove two hours to the MJ boutique but didn't love it in person. The midnight patent looks kind of flat (no variation in tone) and too shiny in person. I think the camera flash in Lilo's pic added a richness to the blue that makes it look better than it really is... Price is $1050.

I did see the blush. It's not a pale pink as I expected, it has more of a mauve, even taupe tone. I thought I'd really love this color, but it was only okay. Still, I thought the bag looked better in blush than in the darker colors like the black and midnight.

Yea...I am seriously considering this bag as well, especially in midnight

I last saw the blush and black patent on bergdorfgoodman.com, as well as a chalk patent on luisaviaroma. The price of the chalk patent from LVR was 700Euros sans VAT, for anyone who's interested.

I have my heart set on getting the midnight colour and oh...NAP will be carrying the Elise in this colour

I think Mischa has the lime one in black...these bags are cute but they look heavy...I'd prefer them in soft lambskin rather than patent though

Looked at these bags today at Nordstrom and they are surprisingly lightweight, especially compared to other MJ bags. The photos shown of the midnight do not reflect the true color--it is actually more of a deep navy blue.

OMG I just ordered the Elise in midnight from Eluxury!

I was able to check out the colour in the bowler style at Nordstrom - it's gorgeous. The bowler, by the way, is absolutely massive - looked more like carry-on luggage than a purse.

I've always liked the Stams, but never got one bec. of the issues I'd heard regarding the clasp. This seems like it'll be perfect!
