You know the Coco Chanel quote, take off one item of clothing before leaving the house? Well with each Marchesa dress it's like remove five design elements and then you might have a decent dress. Each dress has way too much going on.

I honestly don't know why most people on this board is very biased with them. Yes there are some questionable ones..but Marchesa is beautiful to the general public and the elite.
Georgina did study costume design hence the over the top looks. But if a maximalist like Lacroix did this people on this board would love it... So why the hate?

^ I can't speak for everyone, but I can speak for myself. I believe that Georgina Chapman is a person who designs by the book and relies heavily on construction and heavy embellishment to cover for the fact that she is not talented.
