...drool...I *want* that finger clutch!!! Why doesn't anyone cover shows like these? Instead, we get the same old crap.

absolutely beautiful, especially the first dress!

thanks, scott :flower:

I Googled, but there's no coverage out there..shame.:(

It was a showroom,Zazie. Sadly, only few press people cover them in such a way and Diane Pernet has always done this. That's one reason I adore what she does.

He's obscure but has always been important in that he has a huge cult following, and that Bjork dress should have raised his profile. He's also very wearable, much more than Jeremy Scott or Gareth Pugh. Well, it's really cool of Pernet to make the effort to visit the little guys, but seriously, MP deserves better from the press. I mean, even Vena Cava and the Jovovich-Hawk crap get covered...:ninja:

It was but it's a he linen* :flower:

I kind of agree Zazie. But Marjan used to be in the limelite quite often during that period but a few years ago he decided to take a quieter, more emotional direction in his work because I think he might have got a bit lost in it all after the Bjork/Swan dress debacle. So perhaps it's a reflection of something alot more personal and inspired. He's still pretty popular though in London and Paris as he lives and works in the former and presents in the latter...and he's co-owner of Kokon To Zai which are in both cities also. I like this way better, myself. His work has been alot stronger and he doesn't have to worry with the flash and ego aspects like a Galliano caricature.
