Yeah yeah my dear World of Models. I start this 50th edition with one of those incredible stories that make this fashion industry a real fascinating and exciting business. And that really inspires me to share with you guys. From Europe, there comes Mark Cox, a former car salesman that is in the top 20 male model according models.com and, he is sooooooooo coooooooolll!! Hello World of Models family, my name is Mark Cox and I was born in Holland, a small city named Utrecht. grew up with 2 older brothers and I used to live with one of them before I moved to New York where I live with my cousin. so that is really nice to have family around. Before I started modeling I used to sell cars. I did this during 2 years but when i got the opportunity to model I took it with both hands and decided to quite my job in the car industry. I used to play tennis and hockey but at the moment I´m working out in the gym. I´ve just bought a Canmon g11 (I love it!). It´s my new hobby to walk around and take pictures of everything I see. Maybe I´ll decide to take some courses to get to know more about photography
From the jazz pub to the top fashion runways!
One and a half year ago I went to a jazz pub with some friends in Amsterdam.. when we walked out someone came up to me and asked me if i was a model. I never thought about becoming a model before, but I went to the agency and a week later I did my first testshoot, that was awesome and strange at the same time to see myself in pictures like that. The thing I love about modeling is to meeting so many new and interesting people. And. of course, travelling is a great thing too
Catwalks are always a fun thing to do and gives me a powerboost in every new catwalk. The only thing I don´t like is the waiting part before the shows begin and the whole casting part. I´ve already walked for fashion designers like Gucci, Prada, Jill Sander, Burberry, Lanvin, Versace, Zegna, Marc by Marc, Dolce & Gabanna, Ferre. just to name a few. The backstages are always crazy momdents, people screaming out, the designers telling us what to do otherwise we won´t get paid in a funny way, but probably they really mean it
Working with photographers: When I work with a photographer I´m allways interested in what the story is about and how he tries to express that in the pictures.
A fashionista? I´m not a real fashionista but I wanna look good. i love to wear jeans with tshirt or botton up shirt and sneakers. like to keep it simple
Anonymous in a crowd, all a sudden a huge crowd discover you a famous model. How´s handle it?: I´d definitelly talk with them and party together
Human Rights, Freedom of Speech, Wars and Sexual Behavior: I wish we didn´t even had to be thinking about this issue and that everyone had the right to speak up, and people don´t have to be afraid to say what they feel, but sadly enough this is a big issue all over the world. Freedom, Peace and Love is what we are always searching for

An unforgettable moment: A vacation I had last november, I went to Fernando de Noronha in Brazil and it was unbelieveble how beautifull that island is. The pictures that I took there are like postcards
