i am not awake enough to translate this whole thing...
bit it basically says that he left for 'economic reasons'
and is already working on new design projects...

Yep, the original press release states that Martijn Bal left because of diversity with compannies management and that the aw2005|06 is the last one signed with his signature.....this according to is press office!
The bizar thing is that Verri spokesperson denies all and even says that he has a running contract to be fullfilled untill the end of 2005! in respond to this Martijn Bal later told MF that the companny is in serious financial problems and has no intentions to work for a brand that instable...........he seems to be working on new projects already and one of them could be a re-branding of an Italian fashion house again....what could that Be?

Is Verri going bankrupt then? What a pity as I quite like the dresses, nondescript yes, but everyday wearable for office.

So I guess Dior Homme 2 didn't work out, heh...
That company is stupid. I emailed them asking about their stocklists, and they were all clandestine and s**t about it, as if they didn't want people buying their stuff. Talk about exclusivity :rolleyes:

Lol, not even able to help out potential customers, no wonder they're going bankrupt. Ah well there's always DH v3.0, v4.0 and v5.0 (AKA Xavier Delcour, Kriss Van Assche and Lad Musician).

Well, in all fairness Xavier was there already at the time when Hedi was doing Gucci2 at YSL ;)

Not to forget DH v6.0 and the "strongest" v7.0, Undercoverism and Whereabouts from Japan respectively. Cheers. ^_^

Undercover has been around longer than Dior Homme, and I don't really see much od a connection, exept the rock&roll elements
