I don't think I have much to add here....

as several of you have already said, the way he captures movement is extraordinary... I especially love the photos of women with flowing garments billowing out around them, and the straining muscles, sheens of sweat etc that just make the photos seem so real and unstaged, as if they were randomly captured moments

they remind me of le petit prince and the ephemeral rose... it's like the photos are capturing things that are ephemeral like the rose and making them eternal... if that makes sense to anyone
it made sense in my head somehow even if I didn't exactly articulate it

i only knew two or three pictures of him....
but honestly this is very good..... i may get interested into this....

the Lovely autumn, the last warm rays of sunshine, ca. 1929 makes me think of a Prada ad campain....and i see a lot of works that get inspiration into this.
