Uh oh. First of all I am not a fan of those opening looks, or the closing ones. They look kind of uneven and sloppy for me, it takes a lot of skill to achieve a good illusion effect.

And I don't want to go there but those embroidered coral pieces are a plain Louis Vuitton knock-off.

Why is Mary trying to veer off her use of prints? It's what makes her shine and what made her name today. It's disappointing that she did not use her typical style of prints for this season as well.
I'm glad she's trying something new again but completely abandoning what her expertise is is a little disappointing.

I actually expected to see something totally different from her after last collection but really this is rather a dull collection. I think with a new direction, hopefully she will come to her own term combining her intricate details with digital prints.
