Mary Ping Fall 2005

I'd have to see more.

I can't pick up anything distinctive about her menswear, but womens looks cool.

I like the dresses and skirts and how she keeps it simple, but it seems a bit bland...

it is sort of bland but yet i find it's blandness incredibly attractive. like there is something there that draws you in. sort of a mystery

I liked it. It was very simple, neatly tailored, with some cute jewelry here and there. It was a really edited show though, with about 20 looks. I think a slightly larger show would've allowed her to better develop a theme.

I like the first skinny pants. Also the third outfit Spacemiu posted in the right row, I like the baggy shirt there.

The rest is just ok.

i expected much more from her...
she's one of the few that we have here in ny that are doing something interesting...
but i don't find this interesting at all...

im interested in seeing more.
where was this show by the way?

I kinda like what i see so far. doesnt generate much enthusiasm though, but can tell shes got a style I'm interested in seeing more of.

In Lincoln Center, in a really beautiful bright and airy space. I was wondering why more people don't show there. It was perfect.

I think her Slow and Steady Wins the Race collection is better than this.

I agree. I really like her and was hoping for some great things this season but she just seemed to be doing the same thing from previous collections. Very bland and too simple I would say. I mean it is not bad by any means I will probably like it more than most other NY shows but it is a dissapointment. She needs to make some progress.

I was thinking watered down Veronique Branqhuino (that is, if it is possible to water her collections down) :D .
