For Lurve Magazine’s ninth issue themed “Visually, Precisely” the indie mag wanted photography itself to be the creative thrust, so assembling art photographers and image aficionados like Giasco Bertoli and Valerio Spada, who typically operate outside of fashion, made complete sense to shoot the two covers. Philo-philes can embrace the Céline laden cover stars styled by Moreno Galatà. Sure-to-be-hit Poppy Okotcha looks simply sweet in natural light by Spada and Taja Feistner brings the edge, shot in Bertoli’s raw manner. Other editorials by Estelle Hanania with Yulia Musieichuck and Sara Van Pée keep in line with those honest and candid aesthetics, whereas Edith Bergfors’ rich and contrasty images explore form. See the exclusive issue preview below.
