Vriens, Matthias Photographer

Splitting his time between LA and Paris photographer Matthias Vriens contributes regularly to magazines such as Numero, Numero Homme, Vogue Homme International, The New York Times magazine and i-D. Before starting work as one of the world’s most influential photographers, he held down jobs as Editor-in-Chief/Creative Director of DUTCH magazine, Worldwide International Creative Director at Giorgio Armani, and Senior Art Director at Gucci Group. Vriens has also shown his work in two solo shows at The Project, his gallery in New York, as well as museums worldwide, such as the Museet Modern Stockholm and the Nederlands Foto Instituut, Rotterdam.

I think i like his work, although the edit in #13 post is pushing it. :ninja:

Does anyone have his full bio,i would love to read more about him,it seems he will be a regualr at ELLE UK, i wonder how much he will have to compromise for a publication like that.

i've always loved this spoiled aesthetic of rich women in extravagant clothes being half or totally nude without any noticeable reason. there's much more than erotic in that. and ye, thank you, Helmut Newton. you discovered a new world to us.
