Her agency reported that she just did a shoot for V mag, along with other top DNA girls.

I'm sure they won't be a detriment to her career, I actually quite liked the collarbone ones. B) I was just surprised by her high tolerance for pain!

The body art pics are here and here. The behind-the-scenes pics are in post #128. :flower:
HOLY ****! What the **** is that?! (Other than gruesome and disturbing.)

Good on her...
The body art shots are cool if only because it shows quite a bit about who she is... the piercings aren't excruciating or anything... and the endorphin high is unreal!

They're not staples... they surgical steel captive bead rings (the ones you're mistaking for staples don't have the beads in place yet)... the piercing is called a "corset piercing" and is not intended to be permanent - a series of surface piercings are made, jewelery inserted, then ribbon or sometimes chain, etc are woven through the rings to create the illusion of a laced corset... often this is done as part of a performance, for a photoshoot, or an event... and as to the 'why?' part of it all... just because really... for me the piercing is a high - major endorphins are released creating a sort of fuzzy euphoric feeling... ritual piercing has gone on in various cultures around the globe for ages and ages...

Hope that clears things up a bit for you...

I wish the images from the body art were of better quality... Meaghan is gorgeous... and apparently the kind of girl I'd be friends with... :0)

Ah. Now it makes much more sense. Thank you for the explanation.

So glad to hear that Meaghan has finally hit NY and signed to a top agency, at that! I think that might be a first (DNA + an NTM girl)? I can't wait to see what will happen for her. The news about V magazine is a really good start.

DNA has a more than decent board w/ some strong new(er) faces... I love Katrina Hoernig and I'm excited to see what they do with Meaghan!

Yay V! Hopefully soon we can add an OGUE ;)
