I think she looks beautiful and like she's comfortable with herself.
Most actresses at these events tend to look like they tried too hard and like there were too many people interfering with a look so that it ends up being anything but authentic.
I didn't like that feathered style of bangs when she cut them back in 2008 and I still don't like them now, but the good thing is that hair grows fast
I really don't like the dress...it's somehow both way too constrictive while making her look (like Ivonne said) heavier than she is. It would have looked better if it pulled in more at the waist and didn't completely iron down her chest. Her boobs like like they're trying to escape via her armpits.
Still, she looked really pretty and I like the look miles better than some of the red carpet wear and hair/makeup styling from 09. It's nice to see her returning to something softer and more feminine after a string of more vampy/rock n' roll choices.
She's so interesting. She has one of those faces that can look totally transformed from one moment to the next. Always beautiful, but it's the kind of beauty you just can't pin down.

I wish she was at the Screen Actor's Guild Awards, even if she didn't get the Supporting Actress nomination which she deserved, the cast of Inglorious Basterds did win best cast and it would have great to see her up there receiving the award with her co-stars
