Where did you find these,Space?

Looks pretty great. Nice to see how well her work is developing. It actually bears a striking resemblence(in the shapes)to that of Emma Cook.

ohoh more love for the rainbow leggings
and the shoes are cool:p

i'm not sure if i like the clothes, i think it's a bit too simple..it looks cheap:ninja:

Kind of reminded me of Emma Cook to, but it is diffrent.
I love the shoes.

Well,Mélodie is known for her work with silk jersey and knitwear(á la Sonia Rykiel)...might explain the overall simplicity of it.

Here's her web site if you all want to see her earlier works:

She has this wonderful fantastical technique with the knits...doing these sort graphics...I can't explain it but you'll see.

Those shoes, with those clothes... it's a delightful style. ^_^

I think she only does jersey and knit.

I like her alot, it's cute and imaginative but wearable, seems very french to me to.

Thanks for the pictures, Spacemiu. haven't seen these yet. And thanks runner, too, that's a really nice one. Where is that from?
I really like Melodie Wolf but I think she will only get better. I love the graphic design on her webpage.

i'm not really a fan of this season's i think but i loved her clothes for s/s '05

i love this.. cant see nothing wrong with simplicity when the colour or she shape is right

first four looks posted by space are my faves, i really love her choice of blue and her yellow  not too sure about the shoes though

The shoes are definitely strange but in certain cases they work. In other cases, not as well and they feel a bit strained.

i don't really like it..i find the shapes off-putting and none of the individual styles seems to go together quite right for me.

the only one i can see myself actually wearing is the 3rd one in..the tan shortpants with the long black and tan scarf..the black and tan outfit, 2 of my favorite colors together.

Thanks for this spacemui. I like the first two pics you posted - I am not so keen on the brighter coloured things but I do like the shapes. I really dislike the shoes though. 17th C shoes are pretty hideous.

WTF is that???
Gahd. I am sick of designers trying to be 'different'. Just design clothes that look good for god's sake.
Sorry. Bleah.

Evexa, not everyone shares the same idea of what looks good. While there are designers who try way too hard to be different and thus become inauthentic, some do have an authentic vision of what it is they like--even if it might be different from what has mass appeal.

While you don't have to like what's outside of your taste, to have a truly critical eye one must be able to embrace and understand that which is outside one's personal preference or taste.
