Men's Vogue March 2008 : Viggo Mortensen by Norman Jean Roy

is men's vogue good? i've never bought or looked through it.

it's for old people 30 and up... it's not interesting at all for younger teenagers and young adult... thats my opinion! there's really nothing fashion in Men's vogue

Ughg I hate Men's Vogue. It tries way too hard to prove "yes ,we're totally hetorosexual".I would much rather see this magazine full of the most andrognyess and edgy guy models in cutting edge fashion, but of course that would never happen in america.

oh my god.
not a good cover, not a good cover AT ALL :ninja:

Very boring magazine. I'd buy this only for the ads and editorials (if they look good + my fav male models).

^i agree. i've said this 1000x's & i'll say it again, with all the top male models right now, Men's Vogue acts as if they can't feature male models on the covers.

It would be such a pleasure to see the likes of Tyson Ballou Danny Beauchamp, Mathias Lauridsen, Noah Mills, Ryan Taylor, Will Chalker, Sean Opry etc. on Men's Vogue. . but i highly doubt that will happen anytime soon

Those guys are all fine and dandy, but Viggo isn't bad in my books. :p

Thank you for posting. :) :flower:

Yeah, from just a personal taste point of view I'll take Viggo

But I do agree that there should be more models in Men's Vogue, at the very least a few editorials each month would be a nice change.

Well, as long as the mother of them all (reg. Vogue) remains static, we can't expect a dash of innovation anytime soon.

...Not that I mind Viggo. I love that man.

Couldn't agree more.
Men's Vogue is probably the most pointless magazine I know. It doesn't have a target, an audience, an interest, nothing! A male version of Vogue should be the bible of men's fashion, with male models, menswear and such. There's no point in trying to sell it to the straight because they just don't care, and by trying so hard they're loosing even the men interested in fashion, because there's just no fashion in it. If it was about fashion it would at least sell among gays, straight into fashion  and women into the world of fashion. That's a niche, and being specific sells more.
L'Uomo Vogue has been brave at some points in being not so straight friendly (hello Chad White by Steve Klein), but it's also filled with writing and more writing about people and stuff we couldn't care less (hello Vogue Sports)
Is it so hard to get a guy, put some clothes on and shoot? Seriously, there are thousands of talented people out there who would do it even for free...
And if you wanna fill the mag with talking, get some of the fun and exciting bloggers out there and maybe I'll read it.
