I agree. Way to raise awareness on the subject, but I guess they wanted something direct and attention-grabbing to incite morbid curiosity. The three of them look quite lovely though.

Anyway, the Agyness edito sounds promising.

I think only Miesel should be allowed to shoot Jourdan for US Vogue...I mean...compare any shot she did in Italia and Paris to that...BUT it's way better than the jumping shot and the two girls look gorg, so I'm gonna ignore the title screaming across their face and be happy .

However, it took me near 24 hours to process that Leibovitz ed of Kidman. If that woman never shoots another cover and/or editorial ever ever again, including ones for high school magazines and small town business anniversary functions it would not be a day too soon. She is Madame Tussauds sucking the life out of every photography subject. I can't imagine how anyone can ever get excited or impressed by her wax figures and boring group shots where famous white people and two black and browns teeter on wooden props and cheap satin drapes.

How is this the same woman who took that famous Susan Sontag portrait? Is there a Scientologist-like cabal at Conde Nast that performed lobotomy on her or what? Free Leibovitz or FIRE her, I don't care, just eject this woman from the working photographers pool .

Just got my issue today, the editorials were pretty decent. Daria just looks stunning in her ed with Raquel, and Agyness was pretty vibrant in hers. I was also quite fond of the articles on the Met as well as "Is Fashion Racist"

the ed with daria/raquel is ok...just rehashed concept, but both look good...

the nicole ed also isn't as bad in person, but still not great...
the is fashion racist article also has one page of vintage vogue images, including covers from naomi, kiara and beverly johnson, liya with andre 3000, iman, karen alexander, veronica webb, and alek in dior couture...

the cfda shots are interesting...full page of gisele and tom brady, plus a gorgeous photo of the back of christina ricci's dress and some cool candid moments (amber valletta greeting iman, tom cruise standing on the steps waiting for katie holmes)...

vogue index is "the economist" where bonnie morrison, kathryn neale, lauren santo domingo and lauren howell find pieces under $500 plus one investment piece...
life with andré is about the dior and oscar de la renta resort collections...great shot of jourdan dunn backstage with tatyana usova...
