Menswear inspired trousers

I remember Vogue Sept. 2004 had an article on this, focusing mainly on Chloe.

i have one pair looking like those chloe pants, but i would like to get new one, black or grey.

I have two pairs and I'm planing on making a pair of navy blue ones myself. ^^

I've been worshiping my Chloé trousers for over a year now...had to buy three different pairs in the past year. love, love, love.

I've been wanting to get a pair for a long while now, but it is so hard to find my size. (That always happens.)

Nobody does menswear-cum-womenswear better than Ann Valerie-Hash. ^_^

^ Never heard of this designer.. who is she? where is she from? (excuse the ignorance eh ;))
I am going to start an internship in Feb 2006 and will be working in an office. And I'm thinking this cut in trousers will work quite well for that purpose no? With a shirt tucked in i suppose. I already have a pin-striped pair of trousers and a black pair = both of them quite "classic" in their cut..
But where could i find some cool trousers like these (menswear inspired) but that aren't too $$$:ninja: my budget isn't Chloe unfortunately..

these are great !
slouchy . . louche . .
but they only really work in slouchy cottons . . soft fabrics . .
anythn stiffer & hello phantom penis when you sit down :ninja:

the lurking phantom penis... very funny chanel!

i remember my mom used to wear menswear back in the eighties...
very ralph lauren...
the fabric was not so soft and flowing then...
in retrospect it was a bit too masculine for her small frame
(not to mention, um, shoulderpads)
but it's a trend that has resurfaced... although much better now than before...

Search is your friend ;) This was the most useful thread, but there are more threads showcasing her work (mostly couture though...)
