i jsut checked the dior homme lookbooks they gave me at the store and realized that none of the sweaters has long sleeves!! they are knit mittens!! i wonder if those will be any cheaper than the burberry fur ones, although being Dior Homme, they are probably even more expensive!

What do you guys think of the "dhoti" style, low-crotch, trousers from Dior Homme? Here are photos I took recently here in Beijing (also on www.stylites.net. The shop here stocked four pairs, and I think I encountered most of the guys who bought them.

I'm actually surprised that they haven't rolled out the fake versions of these here in China - yet. Or perhaps I just haven't noticed.

I absolutely love the dhoti pants. My only problem with them is that they seem to only look good with boots.

Woah, dhoti really is bad. At first I thought it was just a flap of fabric in front of the crotch area. But no, the crotch really does hang down that low.

I really like the idea of the dhoti, I always like to see different and interesting trouser shapes and silhouettes on men but I reckon this is a trend that is very hard to emulate in everyday life without appearing as mentioned before, too fashion victim and try hard. Having said this, at the right time and the right place- with the right accessories and the right separates put with the dhoti I reckon it could be quite chic and sophisticated on men. The second picture above is exactly how I think this look can appear quite cool. I definately think the monochrome theme compliments the look as a whole.

Well I was hoping for something around $1500 and i'd have bought it but $3000 is a little too much for me Anyway this is my bday next saturday and i'd be pleeeeeeeased if one of you want to send me this gorgeous present
