Michael Kors Fall 2005 NYC

I really love Kors, some of the shows have been stunning... so me. Even the Kors Michael Kors and the Michael lines are delectable... the pieces in the collection are wonderful, no doubt, but I'm sitting here like, WTF? It's all over the place. It doesn't match. Fur, camel colored, and red all in one? I don't get it...

but i want more..... and i can't wait to it broken down. I love how you can usually buy most of Kors' runway stuff, whereas other designers seem to make a lot of different stuff.. maybe i'm all wet...

Very true, but it is looking more and more tired as each season goes by . . . . .

Agreed. I usually like Michael Kors but this is just getting boring. It seems like Tommy Hilfiger (H) and Michael Kors have been reading the same book.

yeah, it's called profitability.

If I could only take with me one thing from this collection, it will be this dress. It's the best evening gown I have seen so far.

ew, after last night's elimination at Project Runway, I lost all respect for him...critisizing the kid cause he's too couture... Kors doesn't know sh*t about couture.... and look at this crap?? .... We'll see him soon colaborating with A.B.S.

great collection, as usual!!
and i agree with libertyrose on the gown - just breathtaking! love it!

after seeing all of it...i like:innocent: my favorites...
...baggy low slung wool grey trouser with black v-neck sweater, white shirt, and long camel coat with big fox collar
...black suit/jacket with silver snaps and zipper, fox wrap, cobalt blue "ski cap"
...grey skirt, white shiny button up shirt, fox jacket, brown croc belt
...silver cocktail satin dress with "dissolving" beaded trim, long silver fox coat
...cobalt evening gown with ruched bodice and long train

nothing NEW, but nice, wearable, classic pieces...

Yes, that was rather appalling.

i absolutely love these boots!!

besides that, i do think this is a step in the right direction for kors. SS05 was the same old, jet-set travel woman crap, and it's obvious with his work for celine he can do something better. i can see the celine influence here, a bit more refined, maybe more "european."

i like these two looks:

After looking through the entire collection, I like it a lot. I think that if it was reduced from say 60-70 outfits and narrowed down to about 40-50, it wouldn't come off as repetitive. I enjoyed this collection much more than last seasons, although I liked that one too.

It is somewhat boring, but I still like some of the outfits and pieces.

I found this statement hilarious :p

On further examination, this is definitely not my favorite Kors collection, I could do without it...
