The retro influence is undeniable here. I looked through it thinking: modern day Audrey Hepburn, modern day Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, and even modern day Julie Christie with some of those updated mod dresses. It's such classic glamor for 2015. The all black, sleek, bow neck dress is my standout... the tweed dress is a close runner-up. There's a lot to love.

A year of fantastic collections from him.

I don't know if Michael changed his team or if he's working with a new stylist but his work is taking an amazing turn. It doesn't feel gimmicky or try-hard like it was sometimes in the past. In this collection you can see his notes of all-american elegance that you've perfectly described Heatheranne but it's perfectly interpretated in a modern and desirable way. Most importantly thoug is the natural feeling of it all, this easiness in the looks that is extremely appealing. From the exquisite outerwear ( the fur cape/coat on the fourth pic in #2 is to die for), to the lovely skirts, dresses or pants and of course that gorgeous red gown, it all flows naturally. There's a lot of things to love indeed and lot of things for everybody.

I can't help but think that with shows how he's the one whi can replace the empty spot left by ODLR when it comes to true American elegance.

I like that he paired hour glass 50s inspired dress with flat even the gown it's so effortless and very chic.

I completely agree with the assessment that he can replace ODLR in terms of that true, quintessential American elegance, this collection shows that a lot. What I also love is I can imagine this on a multitude of women, and it looking spectacular on each lady.

I like when MK does 70s glam, not a fan of 50s looks.
Though there is a lot of pieces which will sell. Michael Kors is probably the biggest luxury name in the US market now and his looks appeal to a variety of women.

I LOVE This. Its beyond chic. The red pants with the white stripe and the pearl studded knits....heavenly. They must have changed the team because he has been hitting home runs for a few seasons now. His Resort/Pre Collections are always stellar.

Great collection, love the red dress at the end and the camel leather trench coat.

Wow, wasn't really expecting it to be this good. Very effortless.
