i do like seeing carolyn murphy on the runway...

argh i thought camo would never come back - the rest isnt too bad

I think it looks good, my favorite is the sweater wrap on Julia Stegner.

 Was he on coke when he designed this or what????!!! Probably one of the worst show of the season.....

He's still into that boho chic whatever nonsense....

What an unfortunate collection. I've browsed through the pics on Getty and I have a hard time finding anything positive about it. :ninja:

actually it's exactly what i would expect from him.

a little confused about the whole bolero/zorro styling with the big black hats. maybe a nod to miss zeta-jones in the front row? who knows!

looks like they're all about to hop the train for santa fe.

was that..........camoflage I saw back there???? *rubs eyes in disbelief*
and....a tiered gypsy skirt???? Noooooo....I thought we had banished gypsy skirts to the depths of the earth!
This is just plain mis-guided.

He Tries Too Hard

(booo that was in caps, but the forum settings wont let me type in all caps, and i guess for good reason)

I hate that he cast Carolyn Murphy.

Didn't Michael Kors start out as a more ourdoorsy version of Narciso Rodriguez? Someone who prides himself on great tailoring, neutral colors, and clean silhouettes? Nowadays his stuff is tending towards tacky, with the crochet dresses and printed pants and straw hats and fur scarves. How many New Yorkers actually want to go SoCal? I don't want to call him a second-rate Ralph Lauren because Ralph Lauren in my opinion is already second-rate, but Kors would be better off if he can incorporate the elegance and craftsmanship he's demonstrated in his Celine days. I fear he's trying too hard to create a brand to exercise his true skills.

A scarf and a coat? What is is it with all these NY designers thinking that this is FW0607? The camouflage on Carmen is scary, but I like the shape of it... The rest is just ok, I think... perhaps a little less than ok..

You're so fair, Mr Dale  Agreed on the Carmen camo assessment...

Normally, I'd say that Micheal Kors designs wearable if somewhat boring designs, but I wouldn't wear any of this  Thumbs down for me :ninja:

I don't get why people are calling him on tiered skirts when just about every other designer has been showing some sort of horrible version of tiers.

I actually don't mind a decent amount of it :ninja: the cropped wide legged pants with the long 'sweater' is quite chloe but it's nice. i've seen way worse.

YAWN.. I don't even have to see the rest.. I'll just downtown and people watch to see the samething.

Disappointing.
