the venue looks great, and yeah, the clothes too..

I'm in love with this collection, one of my favourites so far, i think.

he's good at what he does (american, jetsetting aesthetic) but there's always the risk of being redundant. his clothes (especially daywear) are very wearable and totally accessible. not a huge fan but it looks good albeit that there's really nothing new (a classic in his own way put it that way). this is better than his last one i must say though.

is it possible to be sleek and elegant and at the same time incredibly dull?

i think it is.

I love both the dresses in post #24 and that swimsuit in #26 would be more amazing than it already is in a different color. I like this now! ^_^

certainly. it's a fine line i must say though. it's also the times and individual perspectives.:flower:

The first men's look posted looks like a Jil Sander knit cum Helmut Lang bondage pants.

Michael seems to have become lazy this season. No bandana prints, palm leaves, green/brown tartan, Lurex camo, Hilo Hatie floral or green seersucker.

Gemma looks fantastic! I love the outfit he has her in!! It's so elegant and classic. He truly is the quintessential American designer IMO.

Agreed, that outfit is fantastic  Has me wondering if I can get away with letting my bra straps show like that  :p

Clean, classic, chic; will work for lots of different ages, sizes, real women with real responsibilities. Effortless dressing for difficult times...

I don't think true elegance can ever be dull ...

Looks like a good season for Michael.

Wow, it's quite an improvement over his string of "Ali McGraw/Bohemian" inspired collections of late. It's clean looking, and I like the styling.

My one complaint is that pink chiffon babydoll with the hankercheif hem, how many of those have we seen from every label.
