Michael Kors S/S 2013:Karmen Pedaru & Simon Nessman by Mario Testino

Nothing new or creative here and it does look very Tommy Hilfiger. If this is Testino, that would explain it. He does not shoot great campaigns anymore. Sad how so many photographers are using the same style, etc.or just simply copying each other. It's getting harder and harder to differentiate and appreciate their work.

It looks indeed not like the typical MK campaign. I like the sort of new direction. It mood and style reminds me of M&M's old LV campaigns.

Definitely. Kate, Gisele, Naomi and Karen in the desert, FTW.

I like that new shot. It's very dynamic and the colours are vibrant. I wouldn't be surprised if this was by Mert and Marcus.

CALIFORNIA COOL: For his spring campaign, Michael Kors aimed to highlight “the crisp, graphic feel of the spring collection in bold California colors.” Mario Testino, who is marking his 10th year shooting the Kors campaign, photographed models Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman in Los Angeles with the jet-set touches favored by the designer.

The campaign will break in February issues of U.S. magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and W. The following month, it will launch in 12 international magazines, and, in total, the ad placement will reach 25 counties, with, for the first time, Poland, Australia, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Kors is also placing the campaign in digital and mobile outlets, social media platforms and traditional outdoor advertising.

Well, the clothes look good. I can't remark anything positive about the rest, but then again, that's the main point.

Full campaign.

^ I love how abstract the shapes of the car look in the last shot.

I surprisingly like it, I agreed whomever said it's simple. Every single shot spells luxury to me and the those vivid colors are eye catching.

I really do love this, but I think what's been bugging me most is the cropping. It makes almost every image look very crowded/cramped.
