You're one of the most most wanted models of the world. Who do you see when you look in mirror?
M: Beauty is subjective and intimate. For somebody I can be splendid for somebody ugly. i don't think I'm beautiful. I'm photogenic, but if you'll put other Slovakian girl from the street next to me probably a lot of people will noticed her than me but on picture it would be other way.
One of the first Big campaigns was for Japanese luxury store how do you remember it?
M: At that time my booker went with me since I didn't spoke english a bit. They dressed me put a make up on me and I stood in front photograph convinced we can shoot. I stood like a pillar of salt and everybody looked at me in awe. Photograph said to me star posing but I didn't know how. When I saw those pics recently I laughed.
These days you have a lot of campaigns you walk for the most prestige fashion houses you have a lot of hollywood actors and directors. One day you're diva next you're in sweats and no make up on. Isn't a bit schizophrenic.
M: My close friends says the real Michi is that girl without make up in sweats. Michaela Kocianova is somebody else. When I'm on runway I have to be empty. I do my job and looking forward to put my feet on table and read good book with glass of wine.
Who are you in reality
M: cool and spontaneous. I hate thinks preciously. I hate hypocrisy. Everybody's asking me what you'll do in future. My answer I don't know. I didn't even know I'll be doing modeling. Modeling choose me and took me for long trip.
When we interview you in 2008 it looked like you trip was slowly ending. You said that in 2 years you'll retire at that time. How is your retirement looks today
M: Girls starts runway shows at 14 they are still kids. I wouldn't enjoy doing photo shoots at age of 40. I'm thinking about acting school in NY or I'll study some university. I don't know what will be tomorrow I don't plan long distance. But I know one thing. I couldn't be some rich men's wife and mother of his children. I would rather die.

How is high end modeling outside
M: demanding. People from industry are often arrogant. It depends on momentary sense of people who are on top. In top industry fashion trends are created accordingly on how somebody woke up. Today he/she is in good mood than everything will be in yellow color and everybody around is smiling. When someone wake's up depressed then shooting is way too demanding everybody is unhappy.
Did you get infected with arrogance.
M: I don't thing so. I'm normal and I'm trying not to soar into the sky. Just because I live in foreign country and I meet famous people somebody might think that I incline to too much luxury. But my close friends are people are those who know me when I was only Michi from hotel school and had a practice as a waitress.
Today your friends are Jude Law and Guy Richie. The other one media linked you with him for more than professional co-operation. How was it?
M: We shoot a commercial for Dior in Paris in what I was with Jude Law. Guy was a director. We understood each other. Everything began to inflate when they paparazzi us in London. We were couple times having drinks and that's it. I don't want to discuss it anymore.
So you'll not merry Guy?

I'm living single live now. I'm not unhappy but it always could be better. I was giving more than receiving in past and I don't want to do it this way again. I'm not crying at home that I don't have boyfriend. i believe that there is somebody for everybody.
You were a couple with photographer Dylan Don for four years who worked some time in Prague, London and now in Vegas. What divided you?
M: I tried to apologies mistakes in our relation. When you're in love you don't see reality. Even tho everybody around me talked to me about it I was deaf. Sometimes you should be egoist.

M: I'm really happy when I can make people around happy. When I traveled and I was waiting a long time on the airport i bought Dylan cashmere sweater or crocodile leather wallet. Later he said to me that he lost her. It wasn't about money but about principle.
Have you been hard head as a kid
M: I was always lying and was a friend with guys. That for girls didn't like me and they didn't talked to me in elementary school. I had a lot of fights and had a broken finger too. I had always bruises on my knees. When I looked at it back I don't want to have a daughter as I was.
You have older sister and younger brother. How did you manage.
M: I was a brat. I had house arrest a lot, I didn't study. I always had a feeling that my parents pay attention to my sibling that's why I was missing attention. Had really bad grades. Last time I was watching my pics with my mom and I have to say I was ugly. Especially one from the first class. They cut my hair and I looked like a boy.
You were a little fighter. Did ever happened to you some physical assault
M: I'm person who barks but when it come to action I run. But I don't let anybody jump on my head. One time I was shooting with some famous model campaign. He tried to drag to the toilet. Thank god I was able to run away. First steps went to the agency and I told them everything. That boy doesn't shoot a lot anymore....
Top model life is full of happy and unique moment. Are there any sad ones
M: I had a sad ones too. My mom didn't wanted me to model and we had a lot of fights at home. I told her all I want to hear from you is I'm proud of you. Than we both cryed and that was my break point. Than she said she is happy that I can take care of myself. She wanted to see me as moderator. Maybe I'll end up like that.
Is there a day you would delete from your life
M: I don't regret things I've done. Even I fall I know it will not be repeating. I do not regret myself. I'm learning from my mistakes and trying to be a better person.
You've been all around the world. You're known for that you like to come back to your home where you bought a condo couple years ago. What you don't like about Slovak people.
M:Bratislava(capital of Slovakia) is strange. Girls wear Vuitton&Dolce Gabbana and they talk to the press how much it costed. Slovakia is still a bit behind. A lot of people don't realize that brands don't gain respect. Lot of reach people in foreign don't need to show off. They have it in their heads.
When you model for haute couture they have really expensive clothes. Did you wanted to buy any of them.
M: One time I bought Herve Leger dress. I have a lot of vintage dresses in my closet for few $ I had million times on but I can't say good by.
Are you shoppoholic
M: When I come to store I know what I want. When it doesn't fit I don't continue to shop. I love internet stores luisaviaroma.com where you buy style for good price.
One of your greatest achievements is NY shooting for Italian Vogue with Steve Meisel.
M: People are afraid of him. He is really pedant, strict and exact. He starts at nine and ends at 4 no later. He has a lot of assistants. They do a job for him. Everything is thought through detail.
John Galliano is known for pomposity. Who saw him than he thinks he is from another planet. How is he?
M: He is beautifull crazy and amazing artist. When we have Dior HC he walks on the end of the show like the biggest diva. We girls always run to watch big plasma in backstage to watch him. He's phenomenal.
You were never worried about gaining weight. Do you have some beauty tricks.
M: Clean my face at night and use a night cream. Started to use a gym lately. I gain a lot of positive energy there and loose stress. When I have time I go 4 times a week and finish it with sauna but don't use any "magic" procedure.
What is perfect happiness for you
M: In every family there is something. But I really appreciate when I come home mom and dad are are watching TV brother is with her girlfriend in room and my sis is skyping with her boyfriend. That momen I love. I feel peace, harmony and warmth. That's perfect happiness.
