Mid-calf Boots With Knee Length Skirts?

Recently I been seeing women wearing mid-calf stiletto boots with skirts that hit at or about the knee. There is even a picture of that look on the BR web site. What do you think ladies?

personally, i dont think they go together very well..
it just looks better if they are paired with knee-high..
if you really want to pair a skirt with something shorter than knee-high,
i'd say get something inbetween knee-high and midcalf

thats a good question - i am trying to work out waht i think....mmmm. I think that they look ok if the boots aren't tight against the calf but are either loose or big on the leg. Otherwis ei think the tendancy is to make the calf look wider. I think.... i saw a really nice pair of mui mui boots today that I might have bought but for the fact that they weren't proper knee length - they were a weird in-between length.
